Rule Book

Objective: First player to reach 20 Honor Points wins the game.
Honor Points are earned from completing quests, defeating monsters, and buying your way up.

Set Up - Start of the Game

Each player chooses a Race Card. (In order of who goes first)
Each player chooses a Circle Card. (In reverse order)
Each player draws 3 Bonus Cards and 3 Action Cards.
Each player gets 3 Keru Coins. (Keru is the currency in Kuron)
Each player gets 3 Settlement Pieces.
Each player starts with 6 Life Points. (Use a D6 to indicate your life points or use our Player Tracker)
Each player starts at Level 1. (Use a D6 to indicate your level or use our Player Tracker)
Each player starts with 0 Honor Points. (Use a D20 to indicate your honor points or use our Player Tracker)
Place your Pawns into your specific starting place. (Based on your race)
Draw 3 Quest Cards to start the game and place it next to the board.

Turn Phases

Phase One: Start of your turn

  • Proceed with any actions that may be occurring at the start of the turn.

  • Play any cards that may otherwise not be playable during the other phases.

Phase Two: Travel OR Rest OR Hunt For A Monster

  • Travel: Move 1 space and draw an Action Card.

    • If it's a monster, you must enter combat.

    • If it's an event or curse, you must play it on yourself immediately.

    • If it's neither a monster, curse, or event, you may put it into your hand.

  • Rest: Do not move and draw an Action Card into your hand.

    • The Action Card, such as events and curses, is not played out like Travel.

    • You may also heal 1 Life Point. (You cannot heal life above your max life points)

  • Hunt For A Monster: Do not move, instead battle a monster from your hand.

    • If you have a monster in your hand, you may choose to battle it.

Phase Three: End Phase

  • Play any end of phase actions that may be occurring.

  • Play any final cards before your turn ends.

  • Discard any excess cards in your hand. (Max of 6 cards in your hand)
