Quest & Quest Items

How do quests work?

  • At the start of the game shuffle the Quest Deck and draw 3 cards and place them by the Board. Those are the active quests that any player can complete.

  • Some quest may have special effects. (An example is Revive the Life Tree quest. When this quest is active, the Heart Tree no longer heals 3 Life Points when entering the space. Only when the quest is completed will it return to normal.)

  • Some quests may require a Quest Item. These items may be used by the player until they discard the item or turn the item in to complete the quest.

  • The player who completes the quest may claim that the quest card is complete on their turn and collect the rewards.

  • When the quest is complete, put the completed quest into the quest discard pile and draw a new card to replace it.
